Port Houston has strengthened its leadership bench, appointing Eric Casey (pictured) as Chief Operating Officer and Parker Harrison as incoming Chief Legal Officer.

Casey, a former CEO of the Port of Wilmington and EVP Global Ports at Cold Summit Development, also held senior roles at Virginia International Terminals and Maersk; the U.S. Marine Corps veteran (MBA, William & Mary) succeeds recently retired COO Tom Heidt.

Harrison joins from Crowley Maritime, where she served as Chief Legal & Risk Officer and Corporate Secretary; the Tulane Law (maritime law) alum previously managed global liability claims at the American P&I Club and practiced at Chaffe McCall. She will assume the CLO role from Erik Eriksson, who plans to retire.

CEO Charlie Jenkins said the hires support Port Houston’s growth along the nation’s busiest waterway. (ah)
