PhoeniX earns Archie Award

Hubtex has received the 2025 'Archie Award' from the UK material handling association (UKmha) for its electric multidirectional sideloader 'PhoeniX' in the category 'Operational Efficiency'. The award recognises innovations that advance material handling, with Hubtex praised for delivering efficiency gains, ergonomic improvements and sustainable features as Hubtex reported. In a case study at an international plastics and polymers manufacturer, the PhoeniX transported profile racks up to six metres long in aisles just 2.02 m wide.
Equipped with a aisle entry assistant and the 'Hubtex load manager', the vehicle delivered benefits, saving more than 1,600 working hours annually without increasing staff, while reducing strain on the workforce as the company reported. The Archie Awards have honoured achievements in the sector for more than 30 years.(js)
