Lineage opens bonded warehouse in Seattle

Lineage has opened its first customs-bonded cold-storage warehouse in Washington state.
The company’s Seattle Garfield site, located on pier 90 in the port of Seattle, is now certified as a class 3 public bonded facility. It enables temperature-controlled storage of imported goods under US customs supervision until cleared for domestic release or re-export.
The site already offers USDA and FDA inspection, drayage and intermodal services. The move aims to strengthen Lineage’s nationwide bonded network, supporting food importers with compliance and flexibility in global trade logistics. (js)
