Lineage boosting capacity in Louisville cold storage facility

Lineage has broken ground on an 82,000 sqft expansion of its Louisville Winstead cold storage facility in Kentucky (USA). The project will add around 10,300 pallet positions in two convertible rooms, enhancing the site’s capacity and flexibility.
The facility already offers USDA and FDA inspection services, rail access and cross-docking. The expansion, scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, will strengthen Lineage’s regional footprint near key interstate roads and rail networks.
“This expansion supports our mission to build a stronger cold chain,” said Matt Cramer, president for North America East. Regional sales director Jason Mulvihill added that extra capacities will support a wider range of goods and temperatures. (gy)
