JYSK selects Spanish partners

JYSK has appointed AR Racking and Körber to equip its future distribution centre in Almenara (Spain).
The site will support JYSK’s future growth in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, as the company has reported. AR Racking will provide a custom storage system with 182,500 pallet slots, while Körber will handle material flows, including a picking and packing centre for ergonomic order picking.
The facility aims to meet Leed ‘Gold’ standards and features solar panels. It will also house JYSK’s Spanish and Portuguese head office. Operations are expected to begin in 2028. Until then, JYSK will continue using its rented distribution hub in Cheste. (js)
