HHLA reports strong H1 growth
HHLA recorded strong growth in the first half of 2025, despite economic headwinds and geopolitical tension.
Group revenues rose by 16.3% year-on-year, to EUR 885 million, while ebit increased by24.5% to EUR 79.4 million. Container throughput climbed by 7.9% to 3.17 million teu, driven by gains in Far East trade and European feeder traffic.
Intermodal transport volumes grew by 19.6% to 997,000 teu, with railfreight up by 20.2% and road haulage up by 16%. CEO Angela Titzrath said the results highlight the resilience of HHLA’s integrated European logistics network and its ability to navigate volatile market conditions. (js)
