Hellmann launches own operations in Colombia

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has opened a fully-owned subsidiary in Colombia, marking a key step in its expansion in the Americas.
After nearly 30 years of working with local partners and acquiring HPL Apollo earlier this year, the company is now strengthening its position in Colombia with its own local entity. The new subsidiary will offer end-to-end logistics services, including airfreight, seafreight, customs brokerage and contract logistics. Colombia will serve as a strategic hub for regional and global flows.
“This move supports our global growth strategy and strengthens our presence in the Americas,” said Jens Drewes, CEO of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. Peter Huwel, regional CEO for the Americas, added that the launch will enable Hellmann to provide fully integrated logistics solutions. The new set-up reinforces Hellmann’s commitment to long-term growth in Latin America and its goal of connecting markets and customers in the entire region.
