The supervisory board of Deutsche Post plans to elect Katrin Suder as the chairperson of the supervisory board after the annual general meeting on 2 May 2025. She will succeed Nikolaus von Bomhard, who has decided not to stand for re-election after two terms. He joined the supervisory board in 2016 and has been chairman since 2018.
Suder is a member of the supervisory board and a corporate consultant focusing on digital transformation and sustainable technologies. She was first elected to the supervisory board of Deutsche Post on 4 May 2023.
As a physicist and recognised expert in artificial intelligence, Suder was state sercretary at the German federal ministry of defence from 2014 - 2018. She also chaired the digital council of the German federal government. (cj)
