Fernandez leads ACS' new Australian office
Air Charter Service (ACS) has opened a new office in Perth, its third in Australia after Sydney and Brisbane. CEO Justin Bowman said the move builds on the strong performance of the company’s existing operations and takes advantage of Perth’s role as Australia’s resource and energy hub. The office will be led by Stephen Fernandez, who joined ACS nearly 20 years ago and previously served as regional director for the Asia-Pacific region, after roles in London and Hong Kong.
"We believe he is the right person to make this office a real success," Bowman commented. Fernandez added that "I can’t wait to get started and build a team – Australia is such a strong market for ACS, with our other two offices in the country performing very well and enjoying a 24% growth in revenue this year." The Perth branch officially opened on 1 September. (ah)
