ED Forwarding joins PSA

PSA BDP has acquired a majority stake in Mexico-based logistics provider ED Forwarding, strengthening its regional presence and expanding its cross-border logistics offering. The move supports growing demand for nearshoring to Mexico. Based in Mexico City, ED Forwarding has been a agent in PSA BDP’s global network for over a decade.
The formal integration aims to allow the companies to deliver enhanced service portfolios and improved operational efficiency to customers. PSA BDP’s Deputy CEO Hector Gonzalez called the acquisition a “natural evolution” of their partnership, while ED Forwarding’s Managing Director Jorge Pedroza Paez highlighted the opportunity to better serve a key market. The deal is subject to regulatory approval. (js)
