Dutch haulier’s fleet rises to 50 e-trucks

Bidfood Netherlands has led the energy transition in food logistics in the Netherlands since 2021, integrating Renault Trucks electric vehicles into its fleet. It currently operates 25 Renault ‘E-Tech’ lorries, which have already prevented 230 t of CO₂ emissions. The company recently purchased another 25 units.
These additional Renault vehicles will join Bidfood Netherlands’ fleet by the end of the first quarter of 2025. Renault has produced e-trucks in Blainville-sur-Orne (France) since 2020. Its site is the first European plant to manufacture e-trucks serially. The 2,000th electric truck rolled off Renault's assembly line in France recently. (ben)
