DP World enters Singapore

DP World has opened its first logistics facility in Singapore – a 13,000 sqm multi-user bonded warehouse in the Mapletree Benoi logistics hub.
This brings the group’s total warehousing footprint in the Asia-Pacific region to over 800,000 sqm, following recent openings in Hong Kong and Incheon. The move supports DP World’s regional expansion strategy, which includes the acquisition of Legend Global Logistics, Cargo Services Far East and Savan Logistics.
DP World said that “these moves are part of our broader vision to be the logistics partner of choice in the Asia-Pacific region.” The new site strengthens DP World’s supply chain solutions in key Asian markets. (js)
