CMA CGM to support cycling team

From 1 January 2026, the professional cycling team currently known as ‘Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale’ will race under the name of ‘Decathlon CMA CGM’, under a new five-year co-naming partnership between Decathlon, CMA CGM and France Cyclisme.
The agreement unites two French family-owned companies with a vision for long-term success. Following Decathlon’s full ownership of the team from the end of 2025, CMA CGM – active in sea, land, air and logistics – will bring its experience in supporting elite and grassroots sport to the project.
The partnership aims to compete at the top of the UCI World Tour, while developing talent through its development and junior teams. Both partners see this as a strategic step in France Cyclisme’s 2030 plan to reach the highest global level, combining investment, athlete development and a commitment to sporting integrity to build an internationally competitive team.
