Bcube sells forwarding arm

Fischer & Rechsteiner company and Gimax international have signed a agreement to acquire Bcube’s freight forwarding division. The deal, announced on 26 September in Genoa, follows Bcube’s wider strategy to streamline its business portfolio. Under the transaction, Fischer & Rechsteiner will take over activities related to project cargo and global forwarding, opening a new branch in Genoa – its sixth in Italy.
Gimax international will assume responsibility for operations with Latin American countries. Gimax international has been set up by Piero Lazzeri. "I am particularly proud to be part of this new adventure," stated the managing director. The move aims to broaden Fischer & Rechsteiner’s service range and strengthen Gimax’s focus on Latin America, while ensuring continuity for clients and staff during the transition. (js)
